Chapter History
The Theta Eta Colony at the University of Nevada was started in the Fall of 2015 by TJ Brennan, Seton Hall '11. The Colonization Ceremony was held on November 18, 2015 by Jay Grothause, Bowling Green '10. The initiated ceremony was held on December 12, 2015 and was conducted by Jay Grothause, Bowling Green '10. The colony initiated 32 men in their first semester, the initiation was assisted by Epsilon Psi (Chico State). The founding President was Narinder Mall, Nevada '15.
At 6:18pm, October 20, 2016, the Theta-Eta Provisional Chapter become approved to charter. Theta Eta officially chartered on February 25, 2017. The ceremony was held at the Joe Crawley Student Union in the Milt Glick Ballroom. Keynote speakers included Gordy Heminger, Bowling Green '96 (President & CEO), and Ryker Moore, Utah State '15. Special guests in attendance: Bob Kutz, UC - Berkeley '67, Bruce Thiel, Buffalo ’66, Socorro Zarate, Chico State ’13 (GCA), and T.J. Brennan, Seton Hall '11 (Fraternity Staff).
